The Trustees of the SAG - Producers Health Plan (SAG Plan) and the Trustees of the AFTRA Health Plan (AFTRA Plan) are pleased to announce that they have agreed on a merged health plan that combines elements of the existing SAG and AFTRA Plans. The new plan will be called the SAG-AFTRA Health Plan and will become effective January 1, 2017, pending successful completion of the merger.

The SAG-AFTRA Health Plan will offer two plan options: Plan I and Plan II, each with separate benefits and earnings thresholds to qualify for coverage. This two plan design is similar to the two plan options currently offered by the SAG Plan. Both Plan I and Plan II will provide family coverage.

While details of the SAG-AFTRA Health Plan are still being finalized, we have created this website to provide you with up-to-date information and to help make your transition to the new plan as smooth as possible.  A summary plan description (SPD) for the new plan is scheduled for release later this year.

We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. We encourage both current SAG participants and current AFTRA participants to use this site to compare plans, review premiums and eligibility.
